My name is Kali. I am a Certified Birth and Labor Doula, Childbirth and Newborn Care Educator, Personal Trainer and Perinatal Fitness Coach.
I am excited to connect with individuals and families who wish to learn how to better optimize their health and wellness through nutrition, strength and functional exercise. I aim to provide personalized and unbiased support for whatever journey you're taking in life, to include physical, emotional, educational, logistical support as well as connection to local resources.
While I am passionate in the effort of bridging the gap between physical fitness and wellness in pregnancy and parenthood, I am available to support you through your fitness journey, or through your pregnancy and parenthood regardless of your individual goals. The benefits of any of my services may be utilized by all who are interested, regardless of your current path or status.
I became passionate about fitness while serving in the US Navy as an Aviation Electrician. After suffering a skydiving incident that left me with a chronic injury, I learned how strength training can help heal my body, and helped me become stronger, more resilient and capable in all areas of my life. I competed in USPA Powerlifting where I earned three state record titles. My fitness journey additionally helped me to lose weight, learn about healthy eating, quit smoking and drinking excessively, and manage other health issues, to include Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, depression and PTSD.
I became pregnant with twins just before the start of the pandemic in 2020, and further expanded my knowledge and passion for fitness into the birth world. I hope to provide an inclusive and adaptive environment where my family, clients and employees can benefit wholly from community, evidence based practices and unbiased support.
